Field Visit - 2022

Field Visit @kottarakara - 2022




As part of the Kerala University B.Ed. curriculum the trainees were supposed to attend a visit to a cultural monument(community based practical).It is an exposure trip to a place of educational or historical importance. The expected outcome includes providing situations for the student-teachers to learn and get acquainted with the process of organizing /conducting a study tour/field work and understanding the  environment around. A report of trip also has to be prepare by all student-teachers.

On 18th February 2022 field trip has planned at Heritage Art Gallery, Kottarakara  near Ganapathi Temple .105 students were divided into three groups. Each group had 35 students. I was in the second group. Sudarshanan sir and Vineeth sir were the guide faculties for us.

10 am to 11 am were the time schedule for first group.11 am to 12 pm for second group. Time scheduled for third group was 12 pm to 1pm.

I reached there at 10.45am.Third group entered the classical museum around 11.15pm. Biji ,the guide of the museum gave a detailed information about the museum. We took a lot of pictures and noted various things related to the museum. After 12.15pm we group members went out from the museum and took a group photo.

The trip was really interesting and helped to know about the heritage and culture of the ancient Kerala. Totally ,the trip was really interesting and informative and contributed a lot to the development of aesthetic sense, imagination and creativity. The trip was informative and enjoyable.

SUPW - Practical Class

 




Respected Mohanlal Sir from kudavatoor Kollam district took the class. He is a retired HSST. His work experience class was very informative and effective. 

All the students were divided into three groups. One group for making paper carry bag. Second group for making flexi files and third group for making lotion. Each group had 35 students each. I was in third group for making lotion.

At 10 am the session began. Respected Riju John sir welcomed Mohanlal sir. Riju sir gave a beautiful speech and gave detailed information of Mohanlal sir.

Later Mohanlal sir began the session by giving detailed information and importance of work experience.

At first SUPW Session he taught to make paper carry bag to the 1st group in a detailed way. Other two groups also included in the work session.

After the lunch break both lotion making and file making session did simultaneously.

All three works were so effective and helpful in future life also. Session ended at 4pm by giving vote of thanks to Mohanlal sir for his Variable presence and advices and to other faculties who arranged the session .Vote of thanks did by Tessy Raj.

This day was so effective and valuable for all of us.
