General reflection 

 A weekend reflection was carried out in the college auditorium around 10 am under the guidance of Principal Riju sir and other supporting teachers.Teacher trainees from 21 school shared their reflection about the last week.Last week in most schools there were important days celebrated, such as the reading week, international yoga day etc.Most schools celebrated those days with purposeful activities for the students. Then in some schools teachers went for observing the teaching of teacher trainees and they shared about the same.Then after the teachers trainees reflection the teachers shared their observation programs. Then they told about suggestions to improve during the further teaching days.Apart from that they shared us with the positive features also.The reflection ended around 12 pm.

Vaynadhinam Celebration 

Today, June 19, is Vayanadhinam. P.N Panicker's memory day, reading day was observed today. In the morning, the school assembly held a reading day pledge, the children imparted knowledge about relevant literary works in different languages ​​and relevant writers, and the children sang a song about reading and performed. Then H.M spoke about Vayanadhinam and inaugurated the Vidyarangam Kala Sahitya venue.

             Weekend Reflection 2 🏫👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

On Saturday an optional reflection was carried out in our option classes .The reflection was initiated by our teacher Praveena.She called teacher trainees from different schools.First Leethu from Govt boys hss adoor shared the reflection.Last week observation was there in their school.She told about that experience. She have a good teaching experience there.But the timetable was not fixed yet.Then Shincy from MGD HSS told that they didn't get proper timetable and some the teachers got transfer.Also they were alloted to teach those students not able to read and write.Drishya from St Gregorious school shared that there is no proper working labs.The microscope were not working so they could show the specimen to students.Then from our school Liya saji shared the reflection.She told that we got proper timetable and we took the classes according to the lessonplans.But the we noticed in the school that the students didn't know the proper spelling of words.Then from Marthoma school Arya muralist told that their teacher didn't allow to teach based on the lessonplan.The teachers needs complete the topic before July 2 .They want to cover the topic as soon as possible. Then from St Mary's school , Sruthy told that her mentor teacher also wanted to complete the topic as early as possible.Then finally Sreevindh from Marthoma H S told that the teachers in the schools were not ready to accept the teacher trainees.Through reflection it was clear that most of the schools didn't have proper time table and the teachers need to complete the topics as soon as possible.

                WEEKEND REFLECTION 1 🏫👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

As part of the second phase of teaching practice a weekend reflection was organized in our college. It started at 10 am by our Principal Riju sir.He gave the introductory speeches and welcomed the new faculty members. Firstly the reflection presented by Athira .The other 21 school members took part in reflection programme.From my school I went for sharing the experiences for the last 3 days. I pointed out the major things happened in last days.As it was the starting week of academic year.The teacher trainees has to do lot of non academic matters in the school.Then someof them mentioned about the classroom management problems.Each members from 22 schools involved in this reflection section.Around 11 am the reflection section ended with talk by Principal.

School Internship- phase 2

 Today , the second phase of School Internship program was started. We are reached the school at 9.30 a.m . We the 7 members from 3 departments are included. Devi & Lekshmi from Malayalam dept., Sreedevi & Unnimaya from Social Science dept., me..Reshma Elizabeth Sabu, Liya & Surabhi from Natural Science dept. After the prayer section, we are met our mentor teachers and then started our second journey as a teacher.
