EKAM SAHAVAASA CAMP(10/04/23 TO 14/04/23)

ഏകം സഹവാസ ക്യാമ്പ്- 2023

April 10 - 14

Ekam Sahavasa Camp which lasted from 10th to 14th April 2023 was a great experience. The collective work of teachers, teacher-students and other colleagues made the camp more beautiful.

Day 1: SAMYOGANA

As part of the B Ed curriculam a community living camp is organized in the college.Today on 12 April 2023 Monday was the first day of" Ekam "camp. The registration for the students started at 9.30 am.Each day is based on each subthemes.Today was samyogana.

The camp begin with formal section.Inagurated by Sri S R Ramesh.At 11.45 the frst program started 'athmarekha' a talk by transgender Srimayi S L. It was really a nice program.After the lunch section "arangunarumpol" by Sri Bharanikavu Radhakrishnan". The program really brought out the talents of young teachers.The camp for the day ended at 5 pm.

CAMP DAY 2: SAMSARGA

The second day 11 /04/2023, SAMSARGA begins with game section. Each group members participated in it. The first program is"Thudithalam"by"Punnaprajyothikumar"sir.The program also continued as thudithalam. His songs and action really enjoyed by every teacher trainees. With his beautiful voice and power of action everyone fully enjoyed and involved in the programme apart of time.

The afternoon section named "Nirav", the class leaded by "Sri Brahmanayakam Mahadevan" The afternoon section goes with laugh and laughter.His powerful talk grab the attention of every students. The camp ended at 5.30 pm.

CAMP DAY 3: SAMATHWA

Today was the third day of the camp(13/4/23).The theme was SAMATHWA.so today onwards the students has to stay there.At 11 am the programme, MANAM THODUM MAYAJAALAM, started "Magic and mentalism "by "Mentalist Akshay Owen'".The programme continued for around 1 and half hour.The mentalist brought the students and teachers to the world of magic and entered into everyone's mental state.

Afterthat a consentization programme arranged with community participation by providing free medical checksup for the kudumbasree workers.It was a helpful program. Also provide awareness programme related to community problems .The one of the team prepared kappa and kappi for everyone as part of the programme.Then on the third day night was wonderful with programmes by teacher trainees.The programmed named nostalgic related to the recreation of 90 s film situations.Thats really a fabulous programme.Then the night ended beautifully with Dj party in the auditorium.

CAMP DAY 4: VIMOCHITHA

The fourth day of the camp (14/04/2023) everyone get up at 6 clock.The first section began at 7.15 "Yoga and meditation" by "Rev.Dr Jacob John".He explained us with the importance of doing yoga and meditation and also shared us with some of the yoga items.Next section was the heartbreaking "zumba section "by Zumba trainer "Harimole from Haris lifestyle studio Kollam".

After that 11.45 am next programme "Dhe ruchi "was started , It was a cooking program. Each group was provided with equal amount of money.Withthat amount the group has to prepare maximum food items .Every one participated with team spirit. After the lunch break next programme was a camp news reading competition programme. Each group has prepare a news report based on the camp and present it more interestingly to others.It was a competition item and Each group brought innovative news report and presented creatively.

The night section was grabbed the attention of everyone by the music of folksong by" Chennerkara Sivarajan of pathanamthitta".It was a blooming and charming night by the folk music.The programme ended nearly 10 am.Every one had dinner and went to sleep.

CAMP DAY 5: ORUMA

The day began with yoga by our English department faculty Kavya miss. Last day of our beautiful camp After that there were formal session meeting. After the lunch camp coordinator vineeth sir praised each and everyone who worked hard for the camp and announced winning group also .

This was the final day of our camp. After the morning yoga session by Miss.Kavya.P.kumar, Assistant professor department of English we had our breakfast. After the breakfast we cleaned out alloted rooms and packed bags and also get ready.

We all gathered in the main seminar hall around 10.00AM.

Official meeting began by 10.00 am after the prayer. Our beloved principal Sri.Roy sir gave welcome to the guests. Our college local manager Rev Fr.M.Jacob presided over the function. The function was inaugurated by Sri.Neeleswaram Sadhasivan sir. He was a retired headmaster and also an Kerala government television award winner. He also delivered a nice talk. After that Sri. Faisal Bhaseer, development committee chairman,kottarakara municipality delivered the keynote address. Athira.H ,our college union chairperson presented the camp report. Hasna zakeer Hussain from English optional delivered the camp reflection. Vice principal Smt.Princamma G.George, Dr.Leena vahid and Sri.Govind H marked felicitations. Then the prizes are distributed to the best group, best volunteer, best committee, etc. Sri.Jishnu Vijay , chairman said vote of Thanks. Camp officially ended by the National anthem.
